Lee Promotions presented a five bout fight card at the Host Resort in Lancaster,
Pennsylvania. The main event lasted only one minute and eighteen seconds, as
Clarence "Sonny Bono" Taylor shocked Albert Santiago with a first round KO.
Taylor (10-7-2, 5 KO's) of Wilmington, DE sent Santiago (18-8, 11 KO's) of
Philadelphia to the canvas with a hook to the body. The favored Santiago stayed
down for the full count.
In junior welterweight action, Doel Carrasquillo (5-3-1, 3 KO's) of Lancaster
scored a fifth round knockout over Kenny Abril (5-3) of Rochester, NY.
Heavyweight Travis Kauffman (4-0, 3 KO's) of nearby Reading remains undefeated
with a unanimous four round decision over tough Mike Miller (2-3) of Akron, OH.
In other heavyweight action, Wayne Hampton (4-1, 2 KO's) of Capital Heights, MD
decisioned Kevin Hood (1-3) of Lancaster.
In the night's opening bout, junior welterweight Jaime Morales (1-1, 1 KO) of
Philadelphia scored a quick first round knockout over Samuel Lopez (2-2) of
Rochester, NY.
