Press Release: Two hard-hitting heavyweights--Tye Fields of Las Vegas and Ed Mahone of Los Angeles-- will highlight the undercard of a strong Solo Boxeo show  that  features  former world champion Manuel Medina against Javier Alvarez in an IBF junior lightweight title-elimination bout on Friday, March 24, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.  Between the two of them, Fields and Mahone have 55 knockouts out of their 58 wins.  The 31-year-old Fields, a southpaw, with a record of 35-1 with 32 knockouts, meets the 33-year-old Mahone, with a mark of 23-5-2 with 23 knockouts, in a ten-round fight.  Fields is a towering 6-foot-9-1/2-inch, 275-pounder.  Also on the show is an eight-round super bantamweight bout featuring prospect Jonathan Oquendo of Puerto Rico (8-0, 5 KOs) against Larry Olvera of San Pedro, Calif., (6-5-2, 4 KOs).   Six-round undercard fights include cruiserweight Aaron Williams of Las Vegas (6-0-1, 5 KOs) against Alejandro Virgen of Los Angeles (4-4-2, 3 KOs) and featherweight Aaron Garcia of Vista, Calif., (7-0, 2 KOs) against an opponent to be determined.  The show will be presented by Golden Boy Promotions in association with Guilty Boxing
