Boxingtalk extends its congratulations to Akondaye and Joseph Fountain on the newest addition to their family, Caled Javon, born on December 14, 2006 in Houston.  Caled weighed in at 8 lbs 15 oz and measured 20".  Mom and baby had a good delivery and are now home. Akondaye, 7-0 with 4  KOs, is a world-rated middleweight, although her WBC ranking dropped from #1 to #4 during her maternity leave.  She plans to get back to conditioning in the gym with trainer Ronnie Shields as soon as possible with doctor's approval, and hopes to be back in the ring by mid to late 2007. She told Boxingtalk, "I plan to pick up some world titles. Those girls holding them now, enjoy it, because I'll be back soon to take them."
