Fahprakorb KOs B. Pacquiao in Thailand

Salven Lagumbay wrote: International Boxing Federation Pan Pacific featherweight boss Fahprakorb Rakkiatgym used a single blow to the midsection as he knocked out Bobby Pacquiao in the 9th round of their scheduled 12-rounder yesterday at the Pattaya Port in the southern part of Pattaya, Thailand. Pacquiao went down following a weak blow to the body after what appeared like a close fight with both protagonists not able to meaningfully hurt the other fighter and looked tentative throughout.

After a somewhat even opening round with not much action from both sides, Rakkiatgym earned a slight edge in the second round as he kept himself busier. However, Pacquiao retaliated in the third, outboxing the taller Thai.

By the fourth, Rakkiatgym upped his tempo and won the round followed by another ho-hum fifth round.

Pacquiao initiated action in the sixth to win the round, and followed it up by winning the seventh round. By the eighth, however, Pacquiao began to lose steam as Rakkiatgym barely won the round.

"Bobby got tired and took a weak body punch and went down. It seems Bobby is out of shape. He should have beaten this bum (Rakkiatgym)," informed a ringsider who went to Pattaya to cheer for Pacquiao.

The loss saw Pacquiao's record dip to 21 wins, 11 losses, 3 draws with 9 KO's while Rakkiatgym improves to 47 wins, 3 losses with 30 KO's.
