Boxingtalk:  What is new with you?

Owen Beck:  Not much man. Just trying to get back in the game and I am trying to see if I can accomplish my goal which is to become undisputed heavyweight champion.  On the other side I have to say I am blessed because is still teaching me and guiding me.  God is the main goal in my life now and that is basically what I have been doing in my off time.

BT:  You have won your last two fights since taking a 19 month layoff.  Where do you go from here?

OB:  Well I am looking for bigger and better things.  At the same time, I have to be humble about where I have gone.  God has taken me on a different path so I am just looking forward to getting a shot at a title.

BT:  Is there anyone in particular you would like to fight?

OB:  I am not going to call out anyone.  The guys know.  They know I want the champions.  They know themselves.  I basically am going for everyone.  My goal is to become undisputed champion and all I need is the opportunity to get back at it.  I need the chance to prove I am who I say I am and get those belts back to the United States of America.

BT:  You have three defeats.  Would you be interested in avenging any of those losses to Ray Austin or Monte Barrett?  We know you would want Nikolai Valuev, the WBA champion.

OB:  I don't have no problems fighting them guys again.  I have been wanting Valuev or any one of them guys. 

BT:  Do you plan on getting back in the ring again this year?

OB:  I do expect to be back sometime this year.  Hopefully some time soon.

BT:  Do you have a message for the fans?

OB:  The true Owen Beck fans know what I am capable of doing.  I am back bigger and better and much wiser.  This time there is no room for mistakes.  Everything is going to be wiser.  I am just going to do what needs to be done.  Right now it is all about taking care of my family, my wife and my kids.  I want them to know they are my reason and purpose.  I want my fans to know that as well.
