On a ProBox show in Tampa, Florida, two former junior middleweight champions faced off in the middleweight divisions, both looking for a last shot at glory.  Neither man looked overly impressive, and after ten rounds, the verdict was a fair one, a split draw. Each boxer took one card by 96-94, with the third card reading 95-95. Rosario outworked Hurd over the later rounds, particularly in round ten as perhaps Hurd (25-3-1) thought he had a decision clinched. Instead, the Dominican Rosario (24-4-2) worked his way back into a draw.
