Former heavyweight champion of Argentina Raúl Gorosito has passed away in Buenos Aires at the age of 57. The reported cause of death was kidney failure. His record was only 17-16-7, but Gorosito had plenty of big fights, including losses to his more famous countryman, Oscar Bonavena, and John Tate, a future heavyweight titlist. Gorosito's best win came via DQ against South African contender Kallie Knoetze in 1976. Gorosito is survived by a wife and two children. source: notifight
