Ex-boxer arrested for role in U.S. capitol riot

Former New Jersey heavyweight Scott "Wildman" Fairlamb has been charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer during the riot in the United States' capital two weeks ago. Supporters of then-outgoing President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. capitol, home of the legislative branch of the government.  According to the New York Post, Fairlamb's assault of federal officer was captured on video, while the boxer also tweeted photos of himself (since deleted) inside the Capitol. According to Boxrec, Fairlamb was 5-0-1 from 2000-2007, and then transitioned to MMA, where he is listed as 0-1. He is currently a gym owner in New Jersey.
