The WBC continues to announce exhibition bouts between former champions. This time, Erik Morales (pictured) and Orlando Salido will face off on December 17th at the Rodeo Arena in Mesquite, Texas, in a charity exhibition match. The promoter, The Boxing Showcase, says part of the proceeds will be used to support amateur boxing and to support women against domestic violence and children against bullying. The exhibition will serve as the framework for the second semi-final of tthe amatuer tournament named The Big Belt Championship. Morales was the first Mexican boxer to win world championships in four divisions. Salido had multiple reings at featherweight and holds a win over Vasyl Lomachenko.
