Erik Miloc TKO2 Roberto Carlos Sánchez Torres ... Rosario, Argentina saw local favorite Erik “El Acorazado” Miloc (12-0-1) defeat Mexico’s Roberto Carlos “El Pinky” Sánchez Torres by technical knockout in the second round. From the opening bell, both middleweights showed a willingness to exchange and fight for the victory. However, in the second round, the Rosario native completely changed the course of the bout. A powerful right uppercut landed flush on the visiting fighter and sent him to the canvas. Although Sánchez Torres (11-2) managed to get back to his feet, Miloc maintained the pressure and launched another attack that resulted in a second knockdown. With the Mexican visibly hurt and unable to respond effectively, referee Alejandro Grispo correctly stepped in to stop the fight at 2:45 of the second round, awarding Miloc the victory.
