Erdei defends light heavy title in Germany

Zsolt Erdei TKO10 Paul Murdoch... Zsolt Erdei of Hungary defended his WBO light heavyweight title, stopping Paul Murdoch in round ten in Dusseldorf, Germany. According to his promoter's website, Erdei dominated from start to finish and scored a knockdown midway through round eight when he connected with two hooks. The Australian lasted into round ten until referee Mark Nelson ended the contest. Erdei improves to 24-0 with 15 knockouts. Murdoch drops to 25-6-1 with 16 knockouts. source: Universum website

Michael Trabant TKO8 Marco Cattikas... On the same show, Michel Trabant stopped Marco Cattikas in the eighth round of a welterweight bout. Cattikas won the first three rounds but Trabant took over in round four and opened a deep over the left eye of Cattikas, which led to Cattikas' corner stopping the fight. Trabant is now 43-2 with 20 knockouts, while Cattikas, 11-1, takes his first pro loss. source: Universum website
