Nur Turhan beat former WBA and WBC world titlist Edith Soledad Matthysse from Argentina by unanimous decision after a controlled and impressive performance. Judges Mile Jovanovski and Gorgi Catleski both scored it a 100-90 shutout, while judge Xhemal Elmazi had it slightly closer at 99-91. Turhan, age 28, improved her professional record to 5-0. Matthysse, age 42, drops to 17-15-1 with her fourth straight loss (although against top competition). The fight was the main event of a show promoted by Halim Promotion.
