In his first Las Vegas bout since getting knookced out by Kostya Tszyu, Zab Judah had an early night, stopping Cosme Rivera in the third round to retain the welterweight championship of the world. A Judah left put Rivera down about twenty seconds into the bout.  All told, Rivera was down three times and completely failed to live up to the pre-fight trash talk he engaged in on this website.  Judah improves to 34-2 with this stellar performance, while Rivera, who came in rated a generous #12 in the Boxingtalk ratings, falls to 28-8-2.
