Rogers Mtagwa KO4 Alvin Brown... In promoter Russell Peltz's main event in Philadelphia, Rogers Mtagwa retained his regional 126-pound title by knocking out Alvin Brown in the fourth round. Mtagwa knocked Brown down twice in the early going, and with Brown's corner threatening to stop the fight if Brown didn't get busy, the fourth round saw a furious exchange that Mtagwa ended by dropping a right hand bomb that left Brown, now 26-9, sitting dazed on the ring apron. At 22-10-2, Mtagwa's record isn't pretty, but he brings consistent excitement to the moribund featherweight division. Next up could be an appetizing showdown with undefeated Jason Litzau. source: ESPN2 Wednesday Night Fights
