Australia’s Dylan Biggs, winner of the WBC Boxing Grand Prix middleweight tournament, will return to action on November 7th in Toowoomba, Australia, where he will face Dan Catlin. Biggs (19-1) was originally scheduled to meet Uzbekistan’s Kudratillo Abdukakhorov. The change of opponent presents a different challenge, as the Australian prepares for another appearance in front of his home supporters. Catlin is 10-2 but has not fought in two years or won in three years. The event will take place at Rumours International under the promotion of TGW & Smithy’s Promotions, giving Biggs an opportunity to maintain his momentum in the middleweight division.
Known as “The Beaudesert Storm,” Biggs won the WBC Boxing Grand Prix by defeating Canada’s Derek Pomerleau by unanimous decision in the final on December 20, 2025, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. That victory capped a run of five wins throughout the tournament, which brought together prospects from around the world and tested his ability to adapt to different styles. Following his Grand Prix triumph, Biggs returned to action in Australia and stopped Kenan Guzel on August 30th at the Ipswich Turf Club.
