Dunne calls out Hunter!

European champion Michael Hunter can't call himself the best super bantamweight in Europe until he beats Bernard Dunne , at least that's how Bernard Dunne feels.Twenty six year old Dunne, born in Dublin, Ireland said yesterday that he would have absolutely no problem meeting Hunter in his home town of Hartlepool in England if he has too.  He said, "I have made no secret of my desire to challenge Michael Hunter for his European title and hopefully the fight will go ahead sometime this year.Hunter can't realistically call himself the best super bantamweight in Europe until he beats me. That claim just can't be justified." He added, "Obviously if the fight goes ahead I would like to hold it in Dublin. But I would step into a ring anywhere with Hunter, even in his home town of Hartlepool".   Dunne's manager Brian Peters is due to travel to England for talks with Hunter in the next few weeks with a view to arranging a showdown between the duo. However whether Hunter agrees to fight in the Irish capitol Dublin remains to be seen. Dunne sells out all his fights in his home town and receives the sort of passionate support that is normally reserved for the Irish soccer team.
