With the win, Dubois claims Bryan's WBA regular heavyweight title. The WBA previously ordered a four-man tournmanent to become the WBA mandatory contender, with champion Oleksandr Usyk set to risk his three belts (including the WBA super championship) in a rematch against Anthony Joshua. If the tournament holds up, Dubois gets the winner of next month's bout between Hughie Fury and Michael Hunter. Dubois is now 18-1 with three straight wins since a 2020 loss to Joe Joyce. Bryan is now 22-1, still with no credible wins in his pro career.
