Zab Judah's new attorney Joshua Dubin told Boxingtalk.com, "I look forward to working with Yoel and Zab. This is going to be a team effort between the three of us making sure that Zab is always protected and that's he's reaping the full rewards of all the hard work that has led him to the welterweight championship of the world. We think Zab is the best fighter in the world pound for pound and he only wants to fight the best out there, so we're looking forward to making this happen. My number one priority is looking out for his best interest, working with him and his father in ensuring that I can teach them as much as I can about the business side of the sport. I think it's rare that you find an athlete on the top of his game like Zab wanting to take an active role in managing his business affairs." As of this past Friday, Dubin discontinued representing DiBella Entertainment because he wanted to represent fighters. Dubin represented DiBella for the past two and half years, still represents Lennox Lewis, and was key as co-counsel to Judd Burstein in both of Lennox's victories over Panos Eliades and Milt Chwasky. Dubin also owns a trial strategy firm in New York where his clients include well known attorneys Barry Sheck and Gerald Lefcourt.
