Don King to take the mound in St. Louis!

Press Release: As part of his annoucment that IBF junior middleweight champion Roman "Made in Hell" Karmazin will defend his title in St. Louis against Cory "The Next Generation" Spinks, a Gateway City native, at Savvis Center on July 8, 2006, promoter Don King will arrive in St. Louis on Thursday and will throw out the first pitch before the first-place St. Louis Cardinals--and their history-making slugger Albert Pujols--take the field against the New York Mets at Busch Stadium (12:10 p.m. CDT). In an intersting twist, former undisputed world welterweight champion Cory Spinks will be the "umpire" for Don's pre-game toss. The bout will be Spinks' first fight at 154 pounds and also his first appearance since losing the welterweight championship of the world to Zab Judah (who has since lost it to Carlos Baldomir).
