Moments ago Willie Savannah informed Boxingtalk.com that Team Juan Diaz and Golden Boy Promotions have verbally agreed to have Oscar De La Hoya's  GBP promote the undefeated WBA lightweight champion.  Golden Boy's offer edged out that of Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing, needless to say the brass at GBP are thrilled with the acquisition. were the two finalists to land the services of Diaz.
