Oscar Diaz-Thomas Davis August 26

Emmanuel Augustus promoter Lou DiBella informed Boxingtalk that Duva Boxing has pulled the plug on the proposed Augustus-Oscar Diaz fight. Diaz will now take on Thomas Davis, who stopped fellow Duva Boxing prospect Kendall Holt in the first round. DiBella was infuriated since he "was waiting to go over the contracts" before suddenly learning the fight was pulled. Duva didn't really want to get into details but stated, "A decision has been made and the opponent for Diaz on August 26 has been changed to Thomas Davis.
