After learning that junior middleweight Anthony Thompson wants 50-50 to face undefeated junior middleweight up and comer Sechew Powell, Lou DiBella, Powell's promoter had this to say, "Obviously he doesn't want to fight Sechew. His promoter and manager know what the money for a Shobox is and if they don't take the offer we'll just fight somebody else." DiBella also informed Boxingtalk that Jermain Taylor's opponent should be solidified after he meets with HBO later this week.
