Moments ago Leavander Johnson's promoter Lou DiBella told Boxingtalk.com, "Surprise surprise, Bob Arum is lying. I asked for $600,000 for my kid, but it was a major fight and it was all negotiable. I made it clear that we would take less because we didn't want to lose the fight. I never asked for options on Morales, another Arum lie. They stopped taking my calls when I thought we had a deal. Then we heard from the people at Top Rank that they didn't want to do it because they felt the fight was too dangerous for Morales. I asked Bob why he would put that trash on television for September 10 and his answer was, HBO wants these guys in easy fights before they fight again in December. I spoke with people at HBO and they told me that was bullshit. Maybe he's lying today to tell the truth tomorrow. He's pointing the finger at me for misrepresenting my fighter which is completely ridiculous. Bob is a great promoter but he's a greater liar. He's being given the opportunity to put together two non-competitive fights and he's going to take that opportunity. He told me the truth on the phone, but when I go out there protecting my fighters interest, Arum has to attack me with lies. Literally, Yesterday he was telling the truth, today he's lying. I've always been able to make a deal with him and if he's not full of shit, let's sit down and negotiate the fight I'll show up at his office tomorrow to finalize a deal. Let's give the people at HBO a real fight and all the people around the world a fight they'll want to see."
