Taylor-Mora April 14 in Los Angeles or Las Vegas!
Earlier today Jermain Taylor's promoter Lou DiBella had this to say in response to Bob Arum describing the potential Jermain Taylor-Sergio Mora fight as a disgrace, "Bob is a great promoter and he's trying to promote a kid who has made his career so far on Versus and he has one decent win. As soon as Kelly Pavlik brings something to the table we'll fight Kelly Pavlik. In the meantime Pavlik should fight somebody real and earn the right. Honestly, I'm learning a lesson. What Bob said about Margarito and Cotto is absolutely the case. You make decisions that are based on economics and I'm making a decision based on economics. His guy means nothing and Sergio Mora has better credentials and he's a celebrity from winning The Contender. Let Kelly fight the winner of Miranda-Green and we'll see. But right now Sergio Mora is much bigger than Pavlik and the only reason Bob is hating on it is because he's trying to promote his Versus kid. Jermain has fought Bernard Hopkins twice, Winky Wright and Kassim Ouma. Let Pavlik earn his shot." DiBella later added that Taylor-Mora will likely take place on April 14 in Los Angeles or Las Vegas.
