Press Release: Undefeated world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (33-0, 29 KOs), from Youngstown, Ohio, returns to ring for his first world championship defense after back-to-back victories over Jermain Taylor.  Pavlik faces Gary Lockett (30-1, 21 KOs), from Cwbran, Wales. The twelve-round Pavlik-Lockett world middleweight championship fight will take place Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall, and will be broadcast live on HBO World Championship Boxing.  The lead promoter, Top Rank, has announced that broadcast will open with Daniel Ponce De Leon (34-1, 30 KOs), from Mexico, defending his WBO 122-pound title against mandatory challenger Juan Manuel Lopez (21-0, 19 KOs), from Puerto Rico.
