David Tua shows KO power

David Tua KO2 Saul Montana... Heavyweight David Tua showed
his trademark punching power to Utah boxing fans, as he caught Saul Montana with two left hooks in the first round that put Montana's back on the canvas with an audible thud. The fight was over little more than two minutes after it started, and Tua is now 42-3-1.

Jeremy Williams W8 Gary Gomez... Hometown cruiserweight Gary Gomez lost by split decision to comebacking heavyweight Jeremy Williams. Two judges saw it for Williams (78-75 and 77-75) and one scored it in Gomez's favor. According to the Salt Lake City Tribune, the crowd booed the decision. Williams told the local paper that he was a bit rusty but he thought he easily won the fight. After more than two years without a boxing match (although he had a few MMA fights), Williams is now 42-5-1. Gomez is 18-9-1.

Peter Quillin KO1 Jose H. Corral... Middleweight prospect Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin knocked out Jose Humberto Corral of Mexico in the first round with what he calls his "chocolate bombs". Quillin is now 14-0 with 12 KOs while Corral drops to 10-6 with 7 KOs.

Roman Greenberg TKO9 Damon Reed... Undefeated heavyweight Roman Greenberg won his 26th straight pro bout by stopping Damon Reed, 43-12, in the ninth round. Greeneberg decked Reed twice in the eighth and once in the ninth. source for all results: salt lake city tribune
