David "The Destroyer" Lopez (23-12-0 with 14 KO's) put on a masterfull boxing clinic last night at the Desert Diamond Casino, in Tucson, AZ as he dominated almost every round of his fight against the cagey veteran Kirino Garcia (35-25-2). Lopez boxed great in the first 5 rounds, then in the 5th round he caught Garcia flush with a straight left hand and sent Garcia to the canvas. However, at the same time he badly hurt his left hand, but was able to continue his dominating performance with just his right hand. Lopez went on to win the fight by scores of 120-106 on all 3 judges score cards and became the new IBA Middleweight champion.
