David Haye brings in Kelvin Davis for sparring

Press Release: David Haye is preparing hard for the biggest fight of his professional career as not only will he be defending his European title, but his bout against Italian Giacobbe Fragomeni will also be a final eliminator for the WBC cruiserweight title on November 17 at York Hall in London, England. Haye, who normally trains in Miami, has stayed in London to train this time. The reason for this change in routine is due to the first class sparing that he is receiving at the gym. The number one spar partner of "The Haymaker" has been former IBF cruiserweight Champion Kelvin Davis from America as well as other quality names. Haye mentioned the fact that Fragomeni holds an amateur win against him, "I'm looking forward to putting the record straight against Fragomeni," he said. "I've never forgotten that
night I was ripped off; this time I won't leave it to the judges, expect a knockout win from me. It should be a really action packed, explosive fight. I see this fight similar to when Lennox Lewis fought Tyrell Biggs," said Haye. "Biggs had beaten Lewis and stopped him reaching glory at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. As a professional, Lewis got his revenge by knocking out Biggs and I intend to do the same when I knock out Fragomeni, the man who stopped me going to the 2000 Sydney Olympics." Haye is managed and trained by Adam Booth. Tickets are available at www.frankmaloney.com or by calling Maloney Promotions at 0871 226 1508.
