Doors will open at 7pm with the first bell at 8pm.

Speaking about the move to the Aragon Ballroom, Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions stated; "its a much larger venue than Hawthorne, similar in size and location to the DePaul Athletic Center. Our loyal Chicagoland following has continued to grow this year and the Aragon should be perfect for this event. Its easily accessible and has hosted numerous boxing events in the 60's, 70's and 80's. The owners have done a great job remodeling it and it looks terrific. As always, the best seats tend to go quickly and with David and Speedy at the top of the card fight fans should order their tickets by phone as early as possible."

Currently ranked #2 junior welterweight by the WBO, behind champion Miguel Cotto and #1 contender Ricky Hatton, Chicagoland fan favorite David Diaz, 25-0 (13KO's) spoke of his upcoming bout, " I haven't fought in Chicago in a while and this will give me an opportunity to show the local fans my stuff. I was in Australia at Kostya Tszyu's camp for a month and I'm in terrific shape. He's the best at 140 and I learned a great deal down there with him." When asked about upcoming fights on the horizon, Diaz stated, " I want to fight all the top guys, but the most important fight is on December 10th. I love fighting in front of the huge Chicago crowds and I won't be looking past this fight."

Speaking from sunny Southern California where he is currently training with three-time world champion, Sugar Shane Mosley, Al "SPEEDY" Gonzales. 15-1-1 (7KO's) spoke about training in Los Angeles and returning to fight in Chicago on December 10th. "I've basically moved out here to work full-time with (Hall of Fame trainer) Jesse Reid and to get better sparring. Also the weather agrees with me a little more, " said the Texas born native. "The Mosley opportunity came up about five weeks ago and its been great working with him on a regular basis, he's a complete professional and this has allowed me to see how a world champion prepares for a big fight." Mosley is fighting Winky Wright on November 20th for the junior middleweight world championship in Las Vegas. Finally, Speedy stated, "Its going to be cold in Chicago, but the 8 Count crowds have always been great to me and that will always be my home ring."

Also appearing on the action packed card is welterweight KO artist Luciano "EL GALLO BRAVO" Perez. 10-1 (9KO's), hot super junior featherweight prospect "HURRICANE" Ivan Rodriguez, 2-0 (1KO), featherweight prospect and Chicago fan favorite, featherweight Frankie Tafoya, 2-0 (1KO).
