Press Release: David Diaz, (30-1-1, 16 KOs) will return to the ring at Cicero Stadium on June 16, 2006 in a twelve-round lightweight bout against an opponent to be named later. Diaz last won a ten-round unanimous decision over Silverio Ortiz on an 8 Count Productions' show in March. The undercard for the event will feature bouts including middleweight Francisco Diaz, (14-1, 8 KOs) of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Chicagoland's welterweight Gilbert Venegas, (9-2-2, 6 KOs).
