Vic Darchinyan retained the IBF flyweight title with a fifth-round technical knockout Wednesday over Jair Jimenez in Sydney, Australia.  Darchinyan is rated #5 in the Boxingtalk ratings at 112 pounds. The former Olympian is now 24-0 with 19 knockouts. Jimenez, rated #24 at 115 pounds by Boxingtalk, dropped to 22-5-1 with 16 knockouts. Darchinyan floored Jimenez early in the fifth and dominated him for the remainder of the round until the bout was stopped.
