Darchinyan dominates Donaire

Vic Darchinyan W6 Glenn Donaire... Vic Darchinyan knocked down Glenn Donaire in the third round with a right and then went on to win by technical decision, although he deserved to win by technical knockout. Either way, Darchinyan retained his IBF and IBO flyweight championships in Las Vegas, but when Donaire turned away in the sixth round complaining of an injured jaw, the referee ruled a head butt caused the injury, and the bout went to the scorecards. Darchinyan won every round on every card, 60-53, but television replays showed the only collision was between Donaire's jaw and Darchinyan's fist.  Darchinyan, a former Olympian, is now 27-0 with some great fights ahead of him in either the 112 or 115-pound divisions. Donaire, 16-3-1, clearly had an injured jaw, but just as clearly, he didn't show the heart that Arthur Abraham or Paul Maliganggi showed recently by fighting through fractured jaws. source: Showtime
