Danish prospect to fight in London again

Press Release: Undefeated Danish super featherweight, 20-year-old Kim “Golden Boy” Poulsen (3-0, 1 KO) will be heading back to London for the third straight time on April 18, 2007, to take on Frenchman Tony Jourda (6-4-1, 2 KOs) at the Savoy Hotel. Mayfair Sporting Club will promote.  After making his pro debut in Denmark at just 19 last year, Poulsen beat Englishman Shaun “Slasher” Walton (W6) in London last November, and knocked out Estonian Sergei Rozhakmens in five at the same venue in February this year. Jourda should be a sterner test for the Risum Boxing hope. Poulsen, currently Denmark’s youngest pro boxer, will be well prepared, as trainer Brian Mathiasen is pushing him through a tough training schedule, and former world-rated Allan Vester is acting as main sparring partner. “I know it will be a hard fight, because French boxers always come to make a good show. I will be ready for that”, says Poulsen.
