UFC President Dana White confirmed that UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva will defend his title against the PRIDE 183-lb. champion Dan Henderson on March 1, 2008, the probable date of UFC 82 in the post fight press conference.  Henderson, who only a month ago balked at a deal the UFC offered, is most likely opting for a three year deal to stay with the MMA powerhouse.  Dan "Hollywood" Henderson posts a professional record of 22-6 with 11 stoppages.  Henderson holds wins over Wanderllei Sylva, Ryo Chonin and Kenzo Gracie.  Anderson Silva posts a professional record of 20-4 with 15 stoppages.  Silva holds two wins over Rich Franklin.
