Don King Productions won a purse bid today held in Miami, Fla. to promote the WBA regular cruiserweight championship between former two-time WBA light heavyweight and WBA cruiserweight champion Virgil "Quicksilver" Hill, 49-5 (23 KOs), of Williston, N.D. and underfeated contender Valery Brudov, 30-0 (23 KOs), of St. Petersburg, Russia.   The winning bid for DKP was $200.000.  There were no other bidders.  Jean-Marc Mormeck is recognized by the WBA as a super champion.
