"Boxers can't fight without signed contracts!"

Bobby Goodman from Don King Productions sent Boxingtalk.com the following e-mail regarding our interview with Kelly Davis, manager and brother of IBF cruiserweight champion Kelvin Davis. "Kelvin Davis had a signed promotional agreement with us and in fact signed a bout agreement in November for this fight and received a $25,000.00 advance, which he cashed. Then we received a letter from a bankruptcy attorney telling us that they reject our contracts. Then Thomas Hale, his other attorney sent us a letter saying he would like to fight and was going to Las Vegas to train.  We said fine, we'll put it back on, but since the other lawyer is rejecting our contracts, we'd have to sign new ones.  Boxers can't fight without signing a contract. 
We also sent him a contract to meet the winner of unification fight with Wayne Braithwaite and Jean-Marc Mormeck (WBC/WBA).  We have not received any of the new contracts we sent him."
