Naturally, Kevin Cunningham, manager and trainer of IBF junior middleweight champion Cory Spinks is extremely disgusted that Floyd Mayweather Jr opted for a fight with welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir instead of "proving he's the best from 154 on down like he claims to be." Cunningham continued, " Floyd had the chance to fight the best at 154, we signed to fight him according to his terms and all he did was tuck his tail between his legs and run away." Cunningham also stated that Jose Antonio Rivera could bark unification all he wants, but the fact of the matter is Spinks and Rivera will likely have to make mandatories against Rodney Jones and Travis Simms respectively before any unfiication takes place.
