According to the Associated Press, Cruz Carbajal, a former WBO titlist in the bantamweight division, tested positive for steroids following his bout against Silence Mabuza earlier this month. Carbajal lost the bout, an IBF eliminator, via twelve-round decision. He held the WBO title from 2002-2004, including a win over Danny Romero. The Nevada Athletic Commission has placed Carbajal on indefinite suspension pending a hearing. -Scott ShafferÂ
