Cruisers headline Cleveland Show!

Press Release: The main event for a Cleveland, Ohio show at The Plain Dealer Pavilion on September 16, 2006 will feature undefeated cruiserweight Aaron Williams (8-0-1, 6 KO's) against Zack Page (11-7, 4 KO's) in a six-round bout. Williams, recently coming off a first-round knockout of Lloyd Wilson (3-4, 3 KO's), is a native Clevelander who now trains out of Las Vegas. Page, recently coming off a decision over Roosevelt Johnson (4-8-1, 1 KO), hails from Warren, Ohio. Also fighting on the "Saturday Night Live Boxing: Slugfest on the River" card will be Cleveland heavyweight Dan Jambor (5-1-1), light middleweights Delaney Howard (4-0) and Juan McPherson (2-0) along with female cruiserweight Alecia "Mega" Battle (2-0). McPherson's brother, welterweight Cifford McPherson (2-1) will also be on the card in
addition to welterweight Henri White (pro debut). Scheduled to attend will be some of Ohio's best professional fighters, including  middleweight contendert Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik, heavyweight contender Ray "The Rainman" Austin and female cruiserweight Vonda Ward.
