Cory Spinks: Mayweather and Mosley are chumps

Floyd isn't even a real person anymore

GL: What's the latest and greatest with Cory Spinks and when can we expect you back in the ring? "Noting much man, just here chilling. Trying to figure out what my next move is going to be, but nothing has changed, I'm still ready to box anyone's socks off, they just don't want to fight me."

GL: Do you feel your controversial loss to Jermain Taylor has been quietly swept under the rug?

Cory Spinks: "Of course, because everyone who watched that fight knows what they saw. Jermain is a good young fighter and I have a lot of respect for him but I definitely outboxed him, I just didn't get the decision. I'm not a middleweight but I moved up to middleweight to fight the best out there because nobody else wanted to fight. Everywhere I go people tell me that I got robbed and that makes me feel better because the fans are who makes you."

GL: Is Floyd Mayweather Jr still the fight you want the most?

CS: "Most definitely, but Floyd's becoming a plastic dude. He's not even a real person anymore."

GL: What makes you say that?

CS: "Because it's the truth. He was supposed to fight me in November and then he pulled out to fight Carlos Baldomir. Carlos Baldomir? Then he outboxes Oscar and says he's retiring, but the second Ricky Hatton comes out saying his name, Floyd can't wait for Hatton to sign a contract. I've been here talking shit about this dude forever and I'm still waiting for him to sign something. He got in my face after I beat Zab, but he still ain't trying to fight me. He still ain't trying to fight me, all you got to do is tell that chump to send me the contract Ricky Hatton and he could stop looking for an opponent. If he's not going to fight the best guys out there he should do the boxing world."

GL: When can we expect you back in the ring?

CS: "I don't know man, I'm just going to leave that to my people and continue to do what I do, sign contracts to fight the best out there. Right now I'm just looking for a big name to defend my title against and if I can't find one, I'm going to look for whoever the fans want to see me fight at 154. Shane Mosley still has no opponent and he'd rather sit on his hands to see what everyone else does instead of stepping up to 154 for a real challenge, and HBO is holding dates for guys like him and Lil Floyd, it's crazy."

GL: Is it about time for another fight in St. Louis?

CS: "I think so, I love fighting at home and the fans in the Lou love having me there and they come out in big numbers to watch me fight so I'm hoping we can give them another event that nobody will forget."

GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?

CS: "I want to thank all of my fans for showing me love everywhere I go and I want to thank Boxingtalk for running the hottest web site on the net."
