The scales claimed the world lightweight championship today when  world champion Diego Corrales failed to make the lightweight limit of 135 pounds. Corrales tipped the scales at 140, meaning the championship is now vacant. Former 130-pound champ Joel Casamayor weighed in at an even 135 pounds and can claim top lightweight honors if he beats Corrales tomorrow. If Corrales wins, the title will be vacant.
