Bob Arum has informed Boxingtalk.com that the eagerly anticipated rematch between lightweight king Diego Corrales and Jose Luis Castillo has already generated over $3.8M in ticket sales. "This is the fight that everyone wants to see, interest in this fight has been absolutely unbelieveable and on October 8 the Thomas and Mack Center will be completely sold-out," boasted Arum, who is supremely confident that Corrales-Castillo II on Showtime PPV will generated more PPV buys than Tarver-Jones III, which takes place on HBO PPV the previous week.
