According to leading Hollywod publication Variety, Paramount studios will begin shooting a major motion picture release this summer based on the lives of former junior welterweight Micky Ward and his half-brother Dicky Eklund, a former Sugar Ray Leonard opponent who went to jail and then emerged as Micky's trainer. Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon will star in the movie, reportedly with Wahlberg playing Ward and Damon playing the troubled Eklund. source: variety
