After an eight-month layoff, Jaidon Codrington will fight his second comeback bout in a week. Codrington, 10-1, was considered one of the top prospects in the country but got caught very early in the first round of a step-up fight against Allan Green and suffered a frighteningly violent knockdown in front of a ShoBox national audience. Last week, fighting as a light heavyweight, Codrington quietly won a six-round decision against Robert Marsh, 9-40-2, in South Carolina. In Manistee, Michigan, before ShoBox goes on the air on Saturday, Codrington will face Roy Ashworth, 4-3. Other prospects on the Manistee undercard are Tyrone Brunson, 11-0, who will face Chris Grays, 6-9, in a junior middleweight bout and Vernon Paris, 4-0, who faces Alexis Rubin, 0-4, in a lightweight four rounder. source: DiBella Entertainment
