Codrington discharged from hospital

By Scott Shaffer

After a frightening knockout in Miami, Oklahoma, Jaidon Codrington has been discharged from the hospital and is out of immediate danger.  Codrington was diagnosed with a concussion, but according to a DiBella Entertainment executive, doctors have changed their initial diagnosis that suffered a broken vertebrae.  Although it is too early to say if or when Codrington will resume his boxing career, seeing him walk out of the hospital was great news for everyone connected with Codrington, including DiBella Entertainment, a company still dealing with the tragic death of Leavander Johnson in September. Codrington was knocked unconscious by super middleweight Allan Green after just eighteen seconds and he laid unconscious while medical professionals struggled to reach him as the crowded boxing ring descended into chaos.
