Press Release: Undefeated Chicago middleweight Michael Walker will face Cincinnati native Dave Saunders on Saturday April 7, 2007 at the Par A Dice Hotel and Casino in East Peoria, Illinois, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions. Said promoter Dominic Pesoli about the matchup, “I’ve seen Walker many times, including his fantastic battle with Jimmy Gonzalez. He’s got very solid skills, loves to fight and is a throwback in his aggressive style. Saunders comes with the same reputation so this will be action packed from the opening bell.” Walker, 14-0-1, promoted by One in a Million Inc. had his last bout end in an eight-round decision win over Alberto Mercedes on October 20, 2006.  Saunders, 9-2, is coming off a decision win over the previously undefeated Percy Clay Jr. on June 10, 2006. Four of his six wins by knockout have come within the first two rounds.
