Press Release: Undefeated light heavyweight Tavoris Cloud knocked out veteran Jim Strohl  in the first round Friday night at Cicero Stadium, Illinois. Trapping Strohl in a neutral corner under a barrage of power shots at the 2:30 mark of the first round, Cloud dropped him with a right hand and the bout was stopped by referee Tim Adams at the 2:59 mark. With the win Cloud raised his record to 15-0 with 14 KOs. Strohl’s record dropped to 27-5 with 21 KOs. The modest Cloud stated after the fight, “I thought it might last longer, but once I had him hurt, I was prepared to finish him.”
