Press Release: “Saturday Night Live Boxing: Slugfest on the River” will feature some of Cleveland’s most talented professional fighters. Headlining the card will be a cruiserweight bout featuring native Clevelander Aaron Williams (8-0-1, 6 KOs) squaring off against Warren’s Zack Page (11-7, 4 KOs). In a heavyweight contest, Cleveland’s Dan Jambor (5-1-1, 5 KOs) will be taking on Cleophris Glover (1-2) while female cruiserweight Alecia “Mega” Battle (2-0) will square off against Veronica Rucker (2-6-1). Also fighting on the card will be junior middleweight and former amateur star Juan McPherson (2-0) along with up and coming welterweight Delaney Howard (4-0). Fight fans will also be able to enjoy charity gambling before the event.
