Chavez Jr. back with easy win

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. KO1 Evert Bravo... Saturday at the Premier Diamond Hall, in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, Mexico, former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. returned to action as a light heavyweight after two years away from the ring. The Mexican Chavez stopped Colombia's Evert Bravo (25-11-1) in the first round. Fighting in a tiny ring where Bravo had nowhere to run, Chavez got Bravo up against the ropes and landed a body punch that dropped Bravo for a ten count. Chavez (51-3-1) did niot appear to be in good shape but he wasn't tested at all. Chavez should stay busy, now that he has returned to the ring two years after his defeat against current world middleweight champion Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez in May 2017. In his reign, Chavez made three successful defenses and lost a memorable battle against world champion Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez.   source: box azteca
