Chavez Jr. avenges draw

Julio Cesar Chavez W6 Carlos Molina... Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. erased the only blemish of his career, defeating Carlos Molina by majority decision in their rematch. Their first fight ended in a draw.  Molina was very busy early on, landing against Chavez, but in the third round Chavez Jr. took over, scoring with the more effective punches and wobbling Molina several times.  Every time Chavez used his left hook to the body like his father used to do so perfectly, he hurt Molina. With the win,Chavez can now move on to bigger and better things, as he improves to 24-0-1 with 18 KOs while Molina falls to 8-2-1.  After the fight Chavez said he wants to fight ten rounders from now on and step up in competition.  The official scores read 58-56, 58-56, 57-57. source: PPV broadcast
